He graduated at the Budapest University of Economics Sciences in 2000 and earned a postgraduate law degree at the Eötvös Loránd University’s (ELTE) Institute for Postgraduate Legal Studies in 2006.
Since October 2013 (with a fifteen years of professional experience), he was managing first the MNB’s Market surveillance department, then the Capital market supervision and market surveillance directorate and since October 2019 he serves as the Executive director responsible for the prudential supervision and customer protection of capital markets and insurance, market surveillance.
He participates in several national and international organizations and is a Member of the Board of Supervisors of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and the Presidents Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). He also represents MNB in different professional committees. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hungarian Investor Protection Fund (BEVA).
